Here’s an overview of our 8-week Mastery Program, conducted live in a classroom setting with experienced trainers. Throughout this intensive course, we will dive deep into various topics, engage in hands-on exercises, and benefit from real-world examples. Each module focuses on a specific theme, allowing for in-depth exploration and practical learning.

Instructor: Sabrina Bright, Associate Broker & Senior Training Manager

In these three comprehensive orientation modules, we’ll give you a strong foundation for the daily operations at our brokerage, including roles and responsibilities and who you go to for help when you need it. We will familiarize you with essential systems and procedures and provide useful tips for setting up and optimizing your home office environment.

Instructor: Brad Bosker, Training Manager

Paragon is the primary software tool REALTORS® use for adding listings to the MLS® system, searching for properties, managing clients, automatic email searches, statistics and a lot more. This module is a hands-on live demonstration of Paragon and all the things it can do for you and your clients. Some of the topics we’ll cover include tips and tricks for effective property searching using multiple searching tools, customizing Paragon to fit your business, creating and sharing reports, and using Collaboration Centre to create interactive search tools your client can use too.

This two-part module covers the entire home buying process, equipping you to expertly guide your clients from start to finish. We’ll discuss buyer lead conversion, the initial showing, buyer consultation, house hunting, offer preparation, presentation, negotiation, and finally, handing over the keys to their new home! Throughout, the focus will be on providing exceptional client care, including strategies for client education, showing management, pre-offer research, and offer-writing techniques to protect your clients and help them secure their dream home. Additionally, we’ll address challenging scenarios such as foreclosures, bidding wars, backup offers, and conflicts of interest.

This critical module will provide you with a strong foudndation for completing a legally binding offer to purchase that protects your clients’ interests. We will give you valuable tips on presenting offeers and also review what happens when there is more than one offer on an individual property.

In this module we’ll discuss working with buyers, what your role is in the buying process and what your legal responsibilities are to your clients. You’ll learn about the different kinds of representation and what it means for a Common Law brokerage to represent a buyer, including a detailed look at the Consumer Relationships Guide, Customer Acknowledgment forms and the Exclusive Buyer Representation Agreement. We’ll also discuss the different kinds of listings you might encounter, and how to navigate the challenges of talking about commission with your clients.

In this module you will gain a deep understanding of the elements that impact real estate market values. We will demystify the sometimes intimidating world of statistics to show you the critical numbers you need to be able to understand and explain to your clients so they can make a well-informed real estate decision.

Gain insights into the behind-the-scenes world of preparing a property for the market. In this module we will cover everything from you initial conversation with a seller, to your first meeting, representation paperwork, and presenting the propert to the public. Learn how to handle delicate topics such as feedback from viewings, price adjustments and potential obstacles to a successful sale, such as inspection issues.

This module is designed to help you present your unique value proposition as a real estate agent, including the many listing services provided by Schmidt Realty Group. Upon completion of this module you will have a clear understanding of how to put yourself in a winning position at your next listing opportunity.

In this module we’ll explore how to spot potential red flags in property titles that could affect your clients, whether they are buying or selling. We will walk you through the purpose and technical requirements of FINTRAC, including a hands-on demo of the Really Trusted FINTRAC app. At the completion of this module, you’ll be equipped to handle these critical aspects of real estate transactions with ease and confidence.

We’ll explore the differences between compliant, non-compliant, and non-conforming properties. You will gain knowledge about the situations that can cause roadblocks in a sale and how to navigate a successful path around those obstacles by preparing well in advance of receiving an offer. You’ll also gain an understanding of the purpose, benefits and limitations of title insurance.

This module offers a comprehensive exploration of the intricacies involved in listing condos and guiding buyers through condo purchases. Participants will gain insights into common pitfalls encountered in condo transactions and will learn about condominium documents and challenges such as special assessments.

This module provides practical guidance to agents on how to assist buyers with new home purchases. Learn how to work effectively with builders and developers, understand the unique aspects of infill properties, and learn about the importance of new home warranties.

In this module, we’ll show you how to transform cold leads into lifelong clients by adding value and building trust. You’ll learn strategies for growing a referral-based business so you’re not reliant on cold leads. Plus, we’ll teach you how to generate leads from your existing network of contacts who already know, like and trust you!

In this module we’ll cover the essential steps to kickstart your real estate business, including daily, weekly, and monthly actions. You’ll learn about three key areas vital for building a strong and sustainable business in the long term. Plus, we’ll share practical tips on staying memorable to your network without coming off as pushy or sales-y. By the end, you’ll have a clear plan to launch and grow your business while maintaining authenticity with your clients.

In this module we’ll explore the art of building genuine relationships based on trust. You’ll learn two key questions to uncover your clients’ needs and motivations quickly, as well as how to identify their communication style to better serve them. By the end, you’ll be equipped to connect authentically with clients and provide tailored support.

This is the topic that will allow you to scale and grow your business. You’ll learn the difference between scheduling and planning, and why relying solely on self-discipline is NOT the key to productivity. You’ll also learn practical strategies to ensure your business doesn’t dominate your life and how maintain a healthy work-life balance.
