Lisa moved to Edmonton in 1993, with her parents, from a small town east of Edmonton.  In her early twenties, Lisa discovered a passion for real estate and immediately saw the value & benefits of homeownership where she purchased her first property, a fixer upper in 2005. Through her real estate interactions, she felt that there was a need for a different approach to real estate sales.

Since 2016 she has been raising 2 young children with her husband Serge Gagnon, another realtor, while running a successful real estate business.  With a busy family life & business,  it became clear at the start of 2019 that joining an environment with an exceptional group of individuals with similar values, education & passion with not only business, but also with life, was of utmost importance.  Which is where her Schmidt story begins.  Lisa’s direct approach, personable nature and sense of humour create a comfortable experience while providing professional and solid advice.

Her family is of the highest importance and finds time with her children invaluable. Lisa loves to travel, go camping, get pampered at a spa, spend time with her friends and family. She has a passion for horses and is in her happy place around them, but is also a sucker for most animals, including her Yorkshire Terrier, Tucker. Renovating properties and seeing the potential that they have, is a favorite for her and she hopes that this may one day be a large part of her life.
