Michelle was born and raised in Edmonton. After many years in the legal field of family and real estate law, Michelle decided to make the switch in 2009 to pursue her passion for real estate. As her career snowballed she has expanded her experiences and knowledge to commercial, country residential, land sales and investment real estate.
When she isn’t working you may find Michelle out at many community events as she loves giving back with her real estate profession and family business, Derks Formals. Having these roles allow her to be a part of many charity and fundraising events for The Stollery, Compassion house, Santa’s Anonymous, as well as sitting on parent counsel and hot lunch programs at her children’s school.

New York City! The iconic skyline was just so amazing to see in person. I love all the appreciation for the arts and culture – the city is so diverse!
