Brad has proudly called Edmonton home his entire life. He has built a successful Real Estate business on his strong knowledge of the city, and on a foundation of client education. He makes it a priority to ensure that his clients are making informed and intentional decisions when buying or selling their home.
Away from work Brad and his wife Erin share a passion for the outdoors, and can often be found camping, hiking and exploring new places. Brad also enjoys spending time in his woodworking shop, and is slowly developing his mediocre furniture building skills. He also has a deep lifelong passion for hockey, which wildly conflicts with his complete inability to skate.
Brad is Schmidt Realty Group’s Assistant Training Manager. He works with the newest members of the Schmidt team, providing mentorship and training as they get their feet wet in the industry. Before becoming a REALTOR®, he worked in home and condo construction, and also in web design. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree, specializing in Computing Science.
BRAD’S FAVORITE THINGS…
So far it’s a tie! We loved our camping safari through southern Africa, and hiking in the Himalayas was stunning and unforgettable.
FAVE SWEET TREAT:
Stroopwafels… It’s a Dutch tradition! Apple Crisp is a close second… There must be some way to combine them!
A cold Dr. Pepper. I don’t drink often, but spiced rum is my favorite grown-up beverage
Bears!! No trip to the mountains is complete unless it includes at least one bear!
1967 Shelby Cobra, although it’s designed for people who are a lot shorter than me… I think I could comfortably see OVER the windshield.
Not much for celebrities… My favorite TV character is Nick Miller. I know he’s not real but I’d like to buy him lunch!
FAVORITE ACTIVITY OUTSIDE OF WORK:
Outdoors: Escaping for a few days to Banff or Jasper. Indoors: Woodworking. The ultimate dream: Combine the two by building a cedar-strip canoe and christening it on Maligne Lake.
