“Schonsee is a newer community in northeast Edmonton, founded approximately in 2002. Still being developed, this area will offer mostly detached homes with some multi-family dwellings, as well as a central man-made lake, significant green space, and a commercial retail site. There were 76 properties sold between May 1, 2022 and Apr 30, 2023 in the Schonsee area, ranging from $145,000 for an 625 sq ft apartment condo to $700,000 for a 2,500 sq ft 2 storey home. The median selling price for homes in the Schonsee area during the same time period was $345,000 which represents a 1465 sq ft 2 storey townhouse.
