“The southwest neighborhood of Skyrattler is bordered by 23 avenue on the northside, 111 street on the east side, and Blackmud Creek. With close access to Century Park, shopping and ravine access – it’s a popular yet quiet family neighborhood. It’s where my favorite family owned Kunitz shoe store was first opened! Skyrattler was names after Chief Skyrattler of the Winterburn band and is served by the Blue Quill Community League.  Most development in this neighborhood happened between 1970 and 1990. You’ll find a great mix of single family homes, townhomes and carriage homes in the area. There were 8 properties sold between Sep 1, 2022 and Aug 31, 2023 in the Skyrattler neighborhood, ranging from $150,000 for an 800 sq ft carriage home condo, to $344,000 for an 1100 sq ft single family home. The median selling price for homes in the Skyrattler area during the same time period was $175,000 which represents an 880 sq ft carriage home condo.
