“Secord, a vibrant and growing west Edmonton community, is located in the Lewis Farms area and is home to more than 3500 (2016) people. Once completed, the area will have a mix of low and medium density residential dwellings. Secord covers an area of approximately 248 hectares and is bounded to the north by Stony Plain Road, south by 92 Avenue, east by Winterburn Road, and west by 231 Street.
The demographics in Secord tend to be younger; the majority of working adults are between 25-54 years of age with a great number of them having children under 14 years old. The median selling price for homes in the Lynnwood area during the same time period was $750,000 which represents a 2,700 sq ft 2 Storey with walkout basement.
